Dining Room
The dining room is the oldest part of the house.  It has a vaulted ceiling, mosaic tiled floors and a traditional standing room Alentejano fireplace and wood fired cooking oven.  The fire place is the centre of all homes in the Alentejo.  In the winter it can drop to below zero in the evenings and the fire place served as a place to sit after dinner and socialise. 

The farmhouse table in the room can seat up to twelve people and allows for intimate and relaxed dining.
